Orbital Can

The Orbital CAN System is a low cost space station concept, consisting of interconnecting modules to deliver a wide range of user options. Used together the CAN System provides a complete station with all the necessary equipment and components to satisfy a wide range of orbital needs.

Due to commonality in design components over a wide range of uses, costs can be decreased through large volume production that is not currently available to existing technologies. Reducing cost to these high value components not only increases value to the end user, but also allows more entrants into a currently expensive market. Common parts allow for multi-national space stations to be berthed together, allowing crew and equipment a familiar environment from day one.

 

The Orbital CAN System strives to open up the market to more industries and countries while increasing co-operation and quality.

MDRS FARMM

FARMM is a low-cost autonomous system for producing fresh crops to support human missions to Mars. The system is capable of planting, feeding, weeding, and harvesting with a single power & water input.

Opening the way to extended human missions and settlement off-world requires a sustainable, low-cost solution to food production. autonomous farming solutions save mission time and extend mission duration by taking up less precious space and weight onboard transit spacecraft, instead allowing for other mission support infrastructure to be taken.

MDRS SSAM

SSAM paves the way for informed mission planning by delivering detailed reports of target areas autonomously, quickly, and with a high degree of redundancy.

Each successful step into the cosmos has been preceded by countless hours and millions of dollars of research and planning. With the SSAM system, mission planners can deploy swarms of autonomous bots cheaply and easily to provide geological information about the surface, from terrain height and difficulty to mineral analysis of the soil.

On this first step to a new home on Mars, each of you commands a team of specialists. You worked hard to get here, and each of you has Secret Agendas and a vision for the future of this planet. To succeed, you must be generous with your neighbors, guard your own supplies, and move forward on your secret plans. If you can make it to the first resupply, your influence will decide the future of Mars! If you die, well, you’ll be dead.

That’s where we come in, we turn your project’s design ideas into reality through 3d printing. From there, we can perform tests to help ensure that the part designed will work as intended in real life.

The Mars Moons Project is dedicated to designing the means for a Mars colony to export products profitably to Earth as a much needed income source. Current project work focuses on putting together a presentation for the Mars Society convention this October.

Deimos, the second moon of Mars, is the most economically interesting extraterrestrial body in the solar system from the perspective of space-based manufacturing for export to Earth. It not only makes the most commercially viable manufacturing processes easier than on Mars’ surface (and compared to the Moon it’s better still!) but it provides an order of magnitude improvement in fuel economy using only SpaceX Starships as transport.

The purpose of the Architects Handguide to Mars is to establish the real rules and constraints for design on Mars, followed by possible solutions. The book can be far reaching, touching on topics such as stair tread heights or plumbing. And this will be determined by the enthusiasm and consistent effort by the authors.

The Space Race project is focused on developing a platform for organisations and research centers who wish to learn and share knowledge about a durable and peaceful conquest of space.
No platform currently provides aggregated data and analysis on the space race that could be used by policymakers and researchers to promote a durable and peaceful conquest of space. By tracking human activities in space and by providing data on the performance of public and private organizations competing and collaborating in the space industry, the project aims to develop a leaderboard to track the evolution of the conquest of space.
